Progress Summary

July 2025

Highlights

  • Added new design to Web Authenticator across login, account creation, and transaction signing
  • Completed Ledger hardware wallet pages in Web Authenticator for using hardware keys
  • Added Ricardian contracts to Web Authenticator showing human-readable transaction terms
  • Added Spring 2.0 testnet support and migrated to shared component library in Unicove

Web Authenticator

Added new design across all pages including identity requests, account creation, transaction signing, session management, and Ledger hardware wallet pages. The consistent design creates a better experience from first login through daily use.

Completed Ledger hardware wallet pages letting users store their keys on physical devices while using Web Authenticator’s interface.

Added Ricardian contracts showing human-readable terms alongside transaction data. This helps users understand what they’re signing in plain language.

Fixed Apple login bugs, navigation issues, and account creation problems. Users no longer get stuck on screens or encounter broken login paths.

Improved security with better protection against unauthorized access. Switched to shared encrypted messaging library for secure communication between wallet and apps.

Unicove

Added Spring 2.0 testnet support giving developers block explorer and wallet tools for testing. Configured Unicove to connect to the testnet with matching settings. Developers can now verify testnet transactions while testing Spring compatibility.

Added component library throughout Unicove replacing custom components with shared ones. This makes maintenance easier and keeps design consistent. Improved keyboard navigation, added tooltips on icon buttons, and made search more visible.

Improved Coinbase onramp security by moving credentials to secure servers instead of browser code. This fixes security risks and reduces download size.

Anchor Mobile (Android)

Added automated testing to verify critical user workflows. Automated tests catch problems before users see them. This is valuable for maintenance where changes need to preserve existing features without breaking things.

Fixed settings update logic so available options display correctly. Settings problems can lock users into wrong settings, so proper handling keeps things reliable.

Encrypted Communication

Built encrypted messaging library for secure communication between blockchain accounts using existing keys. No additional key management needed.

Accounts can send encrypted messages that only the intended recipient can decrypt. This lets wallets communicate securely, apps send private messages, and exchange confidential data. Web Authenticator uses the library for secure communication with apps.

Wallet Support

Added PayCash wallet support so users can authenticate with apps using their PayCash accounts. Currently supports identification only, not transaction approval. Regional wallet support helps adoption in markets where specific wallets are popular.
